@Dave

As a lifetime Cavs fan, I will tell you that 2007 was the year of "LeIso" and it was THE. WORST. (even if it got us far)

In defense of what Cavs fans call the "LeIso" play (a.k.a. the "give the ball to LeBron and watch him do his thing"), the reason the Cavs tend to run that is because LeBron can beat anyone in the NBA 1-on-1 (on offense). So there's a very good chance that the LeIso will work. It's even a possibly good option if the opposition has decided to single-cover LeBron in order to avoid leaving his teammates open.

Now, that said, I prefer this kind of play-calling, because it means that the defense can't simply watch LeBron, and despite what you may have heard the King can't beat an NBA team entirely on his own (no knock on him: neither could Mike).

Great insights, but I still think that sometimes - still too often - the Cavs stop moving off the ball and just wait for LeBron to create something one-on-on. That is what cause Cleveland's offensive lulls.

I didn't know Mike Brown had a pulse on the offensive end. This is surprising.

Great breakdown. The Cavs run some very good sets that lull teams to sleep. It's usually what keeps defenders honest late in games when LeBron decides to attack the basket. Great stuff man!

The other option which the defense has is to "Full Trap, Zone & Rotate" against any Pick scenario that involves LeBron.

In my professional opinion, this is, in fact, the best tactic possible to employ against a player that has LeBron's specific skill-set.
